Hi Everybody!  Hope all your summer reading lists are in and you are chipping away at the Mount TBR - one book at a time. So, this week we are super excited to be taking part in the Online Tour for The Coward by Stephen Aryan  from Angry Robot Books , that is releasing on June 9th with a joint launch planned at the Forbidden Planet along with Edward Cox's Wood Bee Queen at 7pm BST.  The blurb for The Coward: Who will slay the evil in the Frozen North, saving all from death and destruction? Map's Edge by David Hair : Blogblast & Happy Book Birthday!

Image
Happy Book Birthday to David Hair , his new book Map's Edge ( Part 1 of the Tethered Citadel ) releases today, Oct 15th. Am really happy to be taking part in this blog tour for his new book - as David is a prolific writer, one of the most hardworking authors with at least three completed series behind him.  Map's Edge is his latest book, part of an exciting new trilogy with his characteristic deep focus on sumptuous world building, flawed loveable characters and wall-to-wall explosive action. The narrative starts off fairly straightforward and gets ahead by leaps and bounds with David cramming the story with all sorts of adventures for his main set of protagonists, till they get to their goals. It all starts with story of Dashryn Cowl who is masquerading as a 'physiker' in this rag-tag village of Teshveld at the edge of the Bolgrovian Empire. He and his teenage daughter Zara, are obviously hiding something and want to lie low. But a chance encounter with the empire com...

Image
Amanda Hocking has been a publishing sensation - with more-than-a-million-copies sold of her massive hit series, " Trylle trilogy " - and from what I could gather, I definitely think she is a prolific writing machine. Putting out one book after the other in humanly impossible time intervals. So Freeks came out on Jan 3rd, 2017 and I was lucky enough to have snagged an early copy and be a part of the . Having never read a Hocking book before, I was eager to dive in - and the dry dusty carnival setting in this cold, mysterious town called Caudry really lured me in. The story is about Mara , a teenager on the cusp of her adulthood, who has been leading the life of a nomad, along with this Travelling Circus group. She lives in a Winnebago trailer along with her mother, who poses as a diviner for the circus but actually is a necromancer who can talk to spirits. In fact, everybody in the group have some paranormal abilities - self-healing, super strength, animal contro...
