Top Ten Titles in June-Aug 2022 that is on TOP of my TBR!

1. In the Shadow of Lightning by Brian McClellan

A new Brian McClellan series is a thing for celebration! I admit, i haven't frankly finished one full series yet, but as usual, am going to be swayed with the promise of a new world, new heroes and a brand spanking cool magic system. Out on June 21st.

2. Against All Gods by Miles Cameron

Another author whose works I have admired, but have never finished a series yet. This one promises to be an all out epic fantasies, with Gods pitted against men, heroes, filled with epic quests and mythical monsters. Definitely going to be catching up on this!

3. Daughter of Redwinter by Ed McDonald

After having run through his absolutely brilliant grimdark first series, Ed McDonald is one of my automatic top of the TBR authors now. I am so glad, he's back alright after that medical scare of his! Rooting for this one and I am sure, as usual, Ed is going to knock the socks off with this new installment of epic fantasy!

4. Upgrade by Blake Crouch

This chap is relentless. Anything he has touched has been pure gold, a classic mix of explosive thrillers and heady science fiction - this one's no different and promises to be another thrill-ride with no safety rails. Bring it on, Mr. Crouch - always a big fan!

5. Martyr by Anthony Ryan

Having absolutely LOVED the Pariah by Anthony Ryan, marking a return to glorious form for him, I am stoked to be able to continue on with the story of Alwyn Scribe, and his dramatic rise and fall.

6. The Last Blade Priest by WP Wiles

This sounds like the epic-fantasy-fix that should bring me out of a lull that I have been having for this specific genre. Priests trained to kill and chosen ones and a looming evil lurking over. What's NOT to like.

7. The Moonday Letters by Emi Itaranta

Emmi Itaranta is an author who has always fascinated me. And hopefully, I am able to jump onto her books, with this new book. A journey through space and time, while the future of Earth hangs in balance. Hook, line and sinker!

8. The Warrior by Stephen Aryan

Another one of my favorite series from last year, didn't honestly think it was going to be a series but yay! More adventures of Kell and his rag-tag of misfits.

9. The First Binding by RR Virdi

Super excited about this new book. R R Virdi's fantasy debut ( He's been writing for a while, with a few interesting urban fantasies and short stories award winning ones to his credit ) - Plus its based on South Asian' Mythology!

10. Bookeaters by Sunyi Dean

A gorgeous new fantasy-horror - of books, monsters and fairy-tales. When it was pitched for perfect for fans of Susanna Clarke or Neil Gaiman, I was sold.

So there you go - top 10 most anticipated books on my TBR for the coming months. What are you reading ?
